New year, new me.

Every year is a new beginning. My new year’s resolution is to get better in school, especially in math class because that’s the hardest subject I have. I want to pass all of my test grades in math, do all homework and do better in everything, such as projects, tests, homework, class work and my behavior in class. I want to do better in everything. In projects, test grades, homework … etc. I have to work as hard as I can to pass math class. Also my behavior in class is not that good because I’ve been talking too much in class and I’m not concentrating. I have to do all of these things to let my dream come true, which is going to an excellent high school and making my parents proud of me.
I live in a world where dreams are never followed, hopes are often turned down, and the sound of laughter is heard once in a great while. Promises are broken, friendships are torn apart, secrets are told, and true identities are revealed. It’s time for a change before this world completely falls apart. Before we lose ourselves to a point where we’ve fallen so hard getting up would be just about impossible. Before we forget who we truly are and why we belong on planet earth.

The true essence of Christmas

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. Christmas is best enjoyed when it isn't centered on decorations, gifts, or festivities, but when love is at its core. Love is the essence of Christmas. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share.

Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child.

Every day is like Christmas for us because Jesus is so good to us every day, but this time is extra special because He pours out His love in extra measure. We feel His love from loved ones, acquaintances, and even strangers. There's just something about Jesus' birthday that turns people's hearts and minds to peace and love and goodwill. It brings out the best in everyone because it brings Jesus out, and He's the best

Climate Change

Even though climate change is partially caused by the natural cycles of Earth, human are still a major part of it. Climate change is the biggest problem of the human being. It is already happening and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet.
The climate can affect every person and our health directly through increases in temperature. Particular segments of the population such as those with heart problems, asthma, the elderly and the very young can be especially vulnerable to extreme heat. There can be extreme floods and droughts, hurricane. Nowadays there are so many factories that exhale really destructive substances and pollute the air. We all know very well that air is something we can’t live without. When we breathe the polluted air, we can get seriously ill. Ground-level ozone can damage lung tissue, and especially harmful for those with asthma and other chronic lung diseases.
Thousands of people will be displaced, and coastal erosion will accelerate. Additionally, higher temperatures will cause problems. Let’s help each other to prevent global warming.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Women in our country and the world at large need to enjoy the same rights as men, without any discrimination, but rather equally. Our mothers must have the right to decent life. They must not be denied their right to live decent and be treated fairly.
To begin with, rights are basic things every human, both men and women, need and must have for our country to function well. Most women in our communities are sometimes maltreated in various ways. Another area where women suffer because they do not have equal rights in the area of marriage many women are forced into marriage at very early stage in their lives.
Equal opportunities for women to work should also be provided if our nation is to make progress. Women should be allowed to work just as men are. As the state, “What men can do, women can do the same and even do it better.” By giving women equal opportunities and equal rights to be educated, to work, to be treated man and woman, will contribute to making a country of progress for all.

My Teacher, My HERO

If you can read this, thank a teacher. A teacher; waking up too early, go to bed too late and thinking about school the whole time. Our second Mom and Dad guiding us protecting us and loving us.

The best teachers don’t give the answers. They just point the way and let you make our own choices, your own mistakes. That way you get all the glory and you deserve it. I know that being a teacher is really hard because they always meet people with different faces and attitudes that can really make them tired. I’m amazed by the teachers because as a student, I know the attitudes of my fellow schoolmates. Some are lazy, not paying attention and don’t have respect for their teachers. Aside from god, my parents and friends; my teacher is also my superhero. Without you, I’m nothing. You guided me when I was lost. You supported me when I was weak. You have enlightened me all through.  What makes superman a hero is not that he has power, but that he has a wisdom and maturity to use the power wisely.

"Immunation: Arming Science Clubbers With with Healthful Defenses towards National Wellness"

All educational institutions across the country, from preschools to tertiary schools, will be celebrating this coming September the National Science Club Month (NSCM).
It is a play on words on ammunition and immunization. We would like our science clubbers to be armed/ to be immune against diseases through imparting knowledge about disease, how they spread, etc. Our goal is not only the science clubbers that benefit from this knowledge but also their school and communities and thus leading to national wellness
Virus can only be treated by specific anti-microbial agent and antibiotics should never be prescribed for viral infections. Defenses are very important for us.

Modern Day Hero

What makes superman a hero is not that he has power, but that he has wisdom and maturity to use the power wisely. Every person has their own hero and reasons. Anybody can be a hero. Anybody without powers can be a hero.

My father is my greatest hero, because he's always protecting me, he care for me and he's doing all to make me happy. Honestly speaking, he's a strict person but I always understand him because I know that he have his own reasons why. He's over-protective but I know he's doing that because he wants to protect me all the time. Not all superheroes have superpowers, some superheroes are ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. SOMEONE who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom. My Father is my Hero.

Aside from God, Teachers and my Mother. My father is also my hero, without him I'm nothing. Without him, I'm incomplete. Without him, I'm not going to be happy.
